Adam Watts is a specialist elbow and upper limb surgeon. He works at Wrightington Hospital as a specialist elbow surgeon, and at the University of Manchester as visiting professor, supervising PhD biomechanics students. He is research and governance lead for the upper limb unit specialist services at Wrightington Hospital and convenor of the elbow course for the British Elbow and Shoulder Society, Wrightington elbow symposium and the elbow and hand trauma courses. He is associate editor of of the Annals of the Royal College of Surgeons, and on the editorial board of the National Joint Registry. He has special research interests in biomechanics, elbow replacement and elbow instability.
